Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a rapidly emerging phenomenon of economic and organizational significance. This article offers a brief introduction to AI in organizations and proposes that the functioning of these systems relevant to organizations, entails task input (data: sound, text, images, and numbers), task processes (algorithms), and task outputs (solutions and decisions).
