The Tammy region honors the life and work of novelist Cid Ricketts Sumner (September 27, 1890 – October 15, 1970).  The region is named after the main character in Sumner’s novel ‘Tammy out of Time’ published in 1948. The region is used for prototyping and testing of new simulation storyline capabilities for the Virtual Harmony grid. The region hosts the Simulation Design Studio used by the community for design ideation of 3D learning simulations.
